200 YEARS OF HISTORY WITH MORE THAN JUST PAINTING

A great challenge ahead: to accommodate all the activities that the Prado Museum was going to carry out as a result of its Bicentennial. Apart from the exhibitions of painting, poetry, prose, literature, cinema, opera, zarzuela, symphonic music, dance and all sorts of sister arts. How to translate all this information into a kind of HUB on their website?

Visual Guidelines

We had to create the basic visual unit that would define the visual entity of the microsite and then replicate it with real content.

Along with the board member of the Friends Foundation and the Chief Digital Officer at Museo del Prado, we defined the strategic basics of the new digital experience of the 'friends'.

We designed different structure for the various content that the Museum wanted to show in its Bicentenarial microsite. Finally we came up with this basic visual unit:
